You don’t have to punch a hole in the hull and re-enact the sinking of the Titanic just to dock your boat in Atlantida. Just sail to the Stará Živohošť peninsula near the Slapy Dam. The local marina offers a place to stay, even for a stopover lasting several days.
The marina, which features two piers with electrical and water hookups, is a rarity in Central Bohemia. Fuel station! Here you can refuel your boat (diesel, gasoline, fresh water) and also relieve it by pumping out the wastewater. You won’t find a station like this anywhere else in our region.
A little taste of Atlantida
Want to stay overnight in Atlantida, but your stomach’s already in knots? Keep your feet firmly on the ground and spend the night at a local hotel. You can enjoy breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which also serves lunch and dinner.
Sailors get more than their fill of exercise during the trip. So, how about relaxing on the grassy beach or letting someone else take the reins? Just a short walk away is the pier for the regular summer ferry service, which will take you to several other beaches, bars, rental shops, and camp-grounds in Slapy. Plus, you don’t have to worry about your blood sugar levels, so you can relax and enjoy a summer drink. Motorcycle riders will appreciate the hotel’s sports facilities, where they can stretch their stiff muscles. How about tennis, badminton, pétanque, volleyball, or maybe inline skating??
A treat for all ages, our only floating academy was founded by bronze medallist and jet ski rider Matyáš Kulich. Under his guidance, anyone can master jet skiing. Maty Marina is home to its state-of-the-art pontoon, currently the only one of its kind in Europe.
So, are you also going to anchor in Atlantida?
