About the rental in general
The staff at this rental shop are active paddlers who are happy to help and advise you. Your only concern will be how to enjoy your holiday on the water and not get stuck.
You can find the headquarters in Roztoky u Křivoklát near the primary school, where you can drop off your motor steed. If you pick up your boat directly at the base or at one of the 5 other drop-off points along the Berounka, you avoid the transport fee. However, for an additional fee they will bring your boat almost anywhere.
In the season from June to September, the distribution points are open daily, in May and September only on weekends or by prior telephone arrangement.
Fleet of vessels
The rental company offers several types of canoes and rafts for river rafting. You can even rent a kayak.
– Vydra canoe (2 persons)
– Roka canoe (3-4 persons)
– Colorado inflatable rafts (4-6 persons)
– Bert kayaks (1 person)
The rental company provides complete equipment for the boats, including paddles, life jackets, barrels, etc. You can arrange the start and end of the trip as needed and the rental company will take care of transporting the paddling equipment, people and luggage.
Boating courses and group events
In addition to classic boat and equipment rental, A.S.K. can also arrange boating courses and organise group events. This can not only be used by schools, companies or any other groups, but also by individuals.
The training starts on dry land, where the necessary theory of canoe control and basic water safety are drilled into your head. On the clay you will try how to control the boat and not let go of the paddle. You will eventually translate your new knowledge into wet practice on the water. There are various exercises and games for small paddlers.
