From Dutch canals to Czech rivers
What does a Dutch-type ship actually mean you ask? Imagine a larger boat with an open cabin that was originally built for the Dutch canals. Well, now you can cruise along the Elbe and Vltava rivers with this boat.
You can rent a Dutchman on the island in the middle of Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav, next to the Kayak Club and Kondor boathouses. And what’s the best thing ever? You don’t need any licence for it. It’s enough if you reach the age where you can legally buy a drink in a bar. Before you set sail, the rental company will explain everything to you and give you a short training session. Taming this Dutch barge is not difficult.
In addition to the crew, you can also take your faithful cyclo-horse on board, thanks to which you can explore the land around the Elbe and Vltava rivers. All you have to do is pull up to a suitable pier and put extra pressure on the pedals. Climb to the roof of the ship and sleep under a sky full of stars. If you were worried about saying ‘no’ to a proposal, you can be completely at ease on this roof. Every woman will fall for this kitsch, even if she doesn’t want you.

The rental company currently only has one boat, but this beauty is worth ten of them. It is the only one in Central Bohemia.

The ideal boat for a full or shortened week. The fully equipped boat with galley will meet the needs of a crew of up to six, who will lay their heads in two cabins. Cold night? Heating and hot water will sort it out. A toilet is of course also included in the price. That isn’t enough for you? So we will add 2 more wheelhouse – in dry and wet version. So you won’t be caught out by torrential rain or harsh sun.
You aren’t afraid to pay for real comfort? The rental company will come to refuel you with diesel and drinking water anywhere on the Elbe and Vltava rivers for an agreed amount of money. The only condition is that they have to get to the boat from the agreed spot by car.
