The whole family will have fun
When you’re trying to swim across a 50-metre pool, you don’t have to worry about a fast swimming kid crossing your swimming path. The 50×30 metre pool has a special section for fooling around, a toboggan and a water slide. For the little ones there is a separate paddling pool with a stainless steel slide and a water mushroom.

In the area of the largest swimming pool in Central Bohemia, you can relax sprawled on a grassy beach with tall trees. Leave your snack at home, refreshments are included in the area. You’ll only get ice cream across the street. To prevent you or your children from dissolving in the water, remember to alternate swimming with other activities. There is a playground with a sandpit for the little ones by the pool, table-tennis tables and a beach volleyball court for the older ones.
How to get to the water?
Own a shiny car with a highway vignette? Take exit 28 of the D5 highway. Without a vignette, take the ‘old‘ way from Beroun, Plzen or Hořovice. Parking is available along the road in front of the open-air pool. Unless you’re hauling your gear with you for a week’s vacation, you can take a train or bus. The bus drops you off at a square about 1.3 km from the swimming pool. The train stops a short distance away.
Zdice lies between two protected areas – the Bohemian Karst and the Křivoklát region. This location invites you to take a trip, which you can finish by relaxing at the swimming pool. So where will it go? Conquer the two connected castles Točník and Žebrák, climb the Crow Rock, or would you rather cool down in the interior of the Koněprusy caves? With toddlers, a visit to Knihov Forest Park in Zdice is more than enough.
