We love animals
A trip to Karlštejn doesn’t have to be boring for tiny tots. Just take them to the king of animals instead of the king of the Czech lands. The Karlštejn Recreational Park and Safari can be found on the right bank of the Berounka River, a short walk from the train station. Even small children can walk through the cosy mini-zoo, and you’ll find it hard to resist begging for a ride on a pony or camel. And what about the fun zone – admit it, would you like to jump on the giant slide or air trampoline too?
From water to water
In the relaxation zone you can enjoy the water, even if you were transported to Karlštejn by land. The pleasant access to the water invites you to swim, and the rental of paddleboards and inflatable canoes is already a challenge. Paddleboarding is a sport for everyone, so don’t let it persuade you and give it a try. Paddling strengthens your whole body evenly and, because it is essentially a balance exercise, also helps with back and cervical spine pain.
