A beach for people? Common thing. Dog beach? Additional!
You probably know the principle of water filtration – the basis is rocks, sand and moss – but what does it mean? The water in the Harasov pond, which is surrounded by the sandstone rocks and forests of the Kokořín Protected Landscape Area, is a real quality. Wear your swimsuit, grab a blanket and roll out on the main grassy beach with a gradual sandy entrance to the water.
High level of well-being. There are three official beaches around the pond. The second one is hiding in the forest under the rocks, and the third one belongs to our furry four-legged partners. If you need to get active, rent a paddleboard, goals with a soccer ball, badminton or table-tennis bats. Or book a trekking bike and explore this area dominated by Kokořín Castle. For lazy people, they also offer an electric version.

For a small fee you can take a course in patience and get points for remaining silent all day. Cast your rod and fish on the pond using the ‘catch-and-release’ method. And if your heart is failing without adrenaline, take a partner, ropes and conquer the sandstone rocks around the lake, where climbing is allowed.
When you don’t want to go home…
The day is slowly ending yet you don’t want to leave? This is not a problem in Harasov. You don’t have to experience a night of terror in the dilapidated Art Nouveau Hotel Harasov, opened in 1912 by Prince Bedřich Lobkowicz. There is a warm room for you on the top floor of Harabistro, where the Lifeguard from Žatec brewery used to go all day long for the ‘nine’. You will spend the night under the stars or in your own mobile apartment in a European-sized camp site hidden behind a building designed by architect David Vávra.
