Maybe the Nová Živohošt’ peninsula on the Slapy reservoir is a bit tucked away, but it is all the more alive! Sissies can get here by car, but now and then the Prague Integrated Transport buses also come to Živohošt’. You want more experiences? On the beaches of Živohošt’ as by the sea
Nová Živohošt’ is one of the most popular paddling spots in Slapy. Visit the Juniorcamp area. The entrance to the water here is gradual and sandy – the hallmark of ideal! There is also a bathing pier and, in favourable conditions, a tobogganis in operation. You can also bronze yourself on the grassy bank.
And that panorama! The wide water surface of the Slapy reservoir and the surrounding natural scenery full of rocks and forests will enchant everyone. The romance is completed by vessels of all kinds that wade through the endless water. How about becoming a captain for a while? There are more than enough rental companies on the peninsula.
Isn’t that a bit much for one place? Don’t be afraid! Bathing is safe within the designated water area, where no motorised vessels are allowed.
A bunch of fun
But the fun in and on the water doesn’t stop there! There are a number of restaurants, refreshment stands and bars. You can play minigolf, volleyball or tennis.
You don’t know what to do first? Take it one day at a time. In Nová Živohosť you can choose from a wide range of accommodation facilities. It’s up to you whether you choose to sleep in a tent, caravan, cabin or apartment. Or do you want to enjoy glamping? Anything is possible!
